Welcome to the Parish of Ledsham with Fairburn
…..and goodbye and thank you from Rev. Andy Robinson. I am sorry to be leaving you at this time of uncertainty following being made redundant on 30th June 2020. I am pleased and relieved to say I now have a job to go to at Full Sutton Prison, which I hope to start soon.
I have done a final magazine which hopefully will answer most of your questions. To access it, please click on one of the links in the side panel. It can also be sent by email if you request it via email@example.com
May God’s blessing be upon you all!
New notice: 5th July 2020
Dear Parishioners and visitors,
Further to new guidelines from the government and The Church of England, some churches in the country will now be opening. However, due to the stringent cleaning guidelines and the fact that our churchwardens and some members of the PCC are shielded until August, the churches within Ledsham and Fairburn Parish will remain closed until further notice, although hopefully this will not be for too much longer and further updates will be made on this website. Ledston Hall Chapel remains closed for restoration until November 2021.
Now that Reverend Robinson has left the parish there will be a rota of clergy (some of whom will be familiar and welcome faces) to lead services in the future.
In the meantime, online services of worship will continue on Zoom. These will be at 10am on the 12th, 19th and 26th July. If you are not on our regular list of Zoom attendees please write to firstname.lastname@example.org for login details.
Everyone is welcome. We look forward to meeting friends and parishioners very soon. Please bear with us in these difficult times, we want to ensure that everyone is safe once we open the churches.
Churchwarden and Vice-Chair of PCC.
